Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of CoolTex HVAC services and our website. By scheduling service, requesting an estimate, or using our site, you agree to the Terms below.
1. Services
CoolTex provides residential and light-commercial HVAC installation, repair, maintenance, and air quality services in the Greater Houston, Texas area. All work is performed by licensed technicians under Texas license TACLA158293C. Scheduling a service does not guarantee a specific arrival time until confirmed by our dispatch team.
2. Estimates & Pricing
We provide free estimates on new system installations. For repair and maintenance work, you will receive upfront pricing before any work begins. Written or verbal estimates are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated. Final invoices reflect the actual work performed and any parts installed; any change to the agreed scope will be discussed and approved with you first.
3. Appointments & Cancellations
Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or by email. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance so we can offer the slot to another neighbor. Same-day emergency dispatch is subject to technician availability.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other terms are agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other methods listed on your invoice. Past-due balances may be subject to late fees in accordance with Texas law.
5. Warranties & Guarantees
Manufacturer warranties apply to installed equipment and are governed by the manufacturer's terms. CoolTex offers a satisfaction guarantee on workmanship; if you are not satisfied with our work, contact us and we will make it right. Warranty claims require proof of service and, where applicable, proof of continued maintenance.
6. Limitation of Liability
CoolTex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service performed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing herein limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.
7. Discounts
Our 10% Hero Discount is available to active duty military, veterans, healthcare professionals, and first responders with valid identification. Discounts apply to standard service pricing and may not be combined with other offers.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last revised" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
